Visit La Bufadora
Located at 17 miles south of Ensenada by taking the Transpeninsular highway to Maneadero.
Most visitors to La Bufadora arrive via a short but scenic drive from Ensenada that provides spectacular views of both the ocean and the mountains.
La Bufadora is the world’s second largest marine geyser. As ocean waves pound against the rocky cliffs of the Punta Banda peninsula, air and water become trapped in a cave that tunnels inland from the shore. Pressure builds until it is released through the blowhole, sending a spectacular explosion of water shooting up to 80 feet into the air.
